The Sylvani of the Leum forest are an ancient culture and home of the Leum Empire.
It is not a genetic dynasty, each emperor is chosen by a council. The emperor has absolute power as long as he/she lives; but decisions are not made without assistance from advisers. The emperor's primary responsibility is with foreign affairs between tribes.
Individual tribes within the sylvani empire are led in a more traditional sylvani fashion.
